About Sue Lyle

Susan Lyle exchanged a management career in the Food and Beverage Industry in norther B.C. and the Kootenays for a career in real estate in 1989. She moved to Vancouver Island in 1991 to be a partner in Shawnigan Mill Bay Realty. In order to serve her clients better, she merged Shawnigan Mill Bay Realty with Victoria's largest independent real estate firm, DFH Real Estate in July of 2000.

Sue owns the office building in Shawnigan. She believes she has found the perfect balance of work and recreation living in Shawnigan Lake. The South Cowichan Valley is safe for kids and pets, provides easy access to the great outdoors, and is just close enough to Victoria for special events.

Sue manages both the Shawnigan office and the Cowichan Bay office, a home base for five real estate professionals . Having lived in the village for twenty years and raised her daughter here, Sue is knowledgable about all the neighbourhoods and the stories behind them. She knows the places to hike, the places to paddle and the best routes the cycle. She also knows the mortgage specialists, building inspectors, and septic companies etc..
